Over the past few days we have been reflecting on our SPUR trip and we feel like God is leading us in a new direction. Although SPUR will not happen, Friends High School Ministries will be taking students to the Rock and Worship Concert featuring Mercy Me, The David Crowder Band and many other great bands on Thursday, April 8th, in Long Beach for only $10. Plus we will be doing several other spontaneous events in which we will be sending out text messages with details.

After much prayer and discussion we have made this decision with church leadership and we sense that there is wisdom in it.

Our hearts are for high school students and their relationship with God. We understand & share in the disappointment when something like this occurs. However, in this time, we are forced to be intentional in how we focus our energy to have a maximum impact for the kingdom of God and the lives of our high school students.

If you have already signed up, we will process refunds immediately. Also, this means that we will not be meeting for training on March 14th, March 21st, and March 28th.

Thank you for your grace and understanding as we continue to strive for excellence. We would appreciate you prayer and support and we value your continued partnership as we move forward.

Thank you for signing up for SPUR. The sacrifice that your students are willing to make by giving up their spring break for this trip speak volumes about their character, their heart to serve others, and most of all your family.
